Security Policy

Draft policy: for review and approval by Anik Shipping Lines management and its legal adviser before publication.

Purpose

To protect vessels, cargo, staff and premises from theft, unauthorised access and other security threats.

Scope

All port calls we handle, our offices and warehouses, and our staff and subcontractors.

Our commitments

• Cooperate fully with ship security officers, port facility security officers and the authorities, in line with the ISPS Code.
• Control and record access by our people and contractors to vessels and port areas.
• Vet staff and subcontractors who work in security-sensitive roles.
• Report suspicious activity, stowaways and security incidents immediately.
• Protect cargo documents and seals from tampering throughout the chain of custody.

Responsibilities

• The Manager coordinates security arrangements for each port call.
• All staff follow access rules and report any security concern at once.

Review

This policy is reviewed at least once a year by management, and whenever operations, regulations or risks change.
